The PRC announced that 128,083 examinees will be taking the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on September 29, 2013 in 17 testing centers all over the country.
The Professional Regulation Commission said that majority of LET takers comes from Metro Manila with an estimated 29,151 examinees. NCR is followed by Davao with 12,815 examinees
Board Licensure Examination for Teachers in Zamboanga City, Jolo Sulu and Tawi-Tawi was recently reset to January 26, 2014 due to the limited access to air and sea transportations brought about by the ongoing armed hostilities in Zamboanga City as well as considerations on the safety and security of the examinees and examination personnel.
The PRC advises the examinees to be at the designated examination site/center before 7:00AM and to bring their notices of admission, two or more pencils (No.2), ballpens with BLACK INK, one piece metered-stamp window envelope, one piece long brown envelope, and one piece long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope on examination day.
The testing centers include Baguio, Batanes, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag City, Legazpi, Lucena, Masbate, National Capital Region, Pagadian, Palawan, Romblon, Rosales Pangasinan, Tacloban and Tuguegarao.
The September 2013 LET Results will be announced less than a month after the exam.
